COMPOSITE GRANITE SINKS CARE

Made from 80% Quartz and 20% Acrylic Resin, this special hardened composite is highly stain, scratch, heat and dent resistant, and is also easy to clean and maintain.

Recommended Regular Cleaning

  1. Clean regularly with hot soapy water and a soft cloth, this is much easier and preferable to the sink finish than infrequent 'heavy' cleaning.

  2. Use a mix of 50% water and white vinegar to remove limescale deposits, ensure to rinse thoroughly after use, do not leave the vinegar in contact with the surface. A nylon sponge or toothbrush can be used in difficult areas. Dry the sink after use to delay future build up.

  3. Always rinse the sink with water after preparing food or cleaning

Deep Cleaning

It should be noted that if the above advice has been followed then "deep cleaning" should not be necessary.

  1.  Wipe dirt with a towel, rinse with lots of hot water.

  2. Use 'Bar keepers friend' cleaning liquid and a stiff nylon brush or nylon scrubbing pad, this is good for removing stubborn stains and silver marks from metal cookware.

  3. Always rinse the sink thoroughly after following any of the above steps.

  4. Once the sink is clean, use a small amount of mineral oil to restore your sink's shine. Pour a few teaspoons of olive oil or mineral oil onto the sink and spread it with a clean cloth.

If these steps did not work 100%, repeat the procedure, as necessary.
